Now that you have worked through the WordPress theme development course, it's time to apply what you've learned to a real world project.
Try designing your own portfolio site if you don't have one or a site for another person or business if you do. In building the site, try to implement all of the skills we have covered in this course as well as beginning to explore some topics we may not have covered in tremendous depth.
If you are able to bundle your theme for release to the public, you should definitely try. At the least, try to launch your new custom theme live on the web so you can see your skills applied to a real world site.
Note that theme that we built for this course can be customized and used for your own purpose as well!!!
